Hi guys,
There's a lovely song I sing called "Indelible Blue" on David J's profile (He authored the song) here:
www.myspace.com/davidjonline
I've had lots of great entertainment the past few nights:
Last night I went to see Irish Soul sensation Laura Izabor (see my top friends) who I'm convinced is going to take over the world! She has such an amazing voice and spirit and her songs have a vibe very reminescent (sp?) of the Stax stuff I love. Plus she's like 19 years old!!! (YIKES/ YEY)
Sunday I saw Rollins, Janeane Garofalo and my friend Marc Maron do spoken word at the Silent Movie theater. I hadn't been there since the night of famous shooting about 10 years ago (timing?) Everyone was really funny but they should have had an intermission:) I actually got nervous before saying hi to Henry- Isn't that wierd?
Friday night's show at Bordello was SUPER GREAT! Thank you so much to all the folks who came down and clapped and cheered. The impromptu Jane Wiedlin special appearance was magic and we all love new drummer Rey Washam lots!
All for now

Hey guys-
I just posted another podcast here:
http://web.mac.com/abracadaby/iWeb/Site/Podcast/Podcast.html
Today's podcast consists of never before seen out takes and previously unused clips from the Abby Travis Video Podcast Archives. Selections include my "Tribute to Betty Davis"; "Postcard from a Hooker in Minneapolis" featuring Paul Wallfisch of Botanica on piano; and "A Short Chronicle of a Plumbing Catastrophe" .
Check it out if you get a sec.
I had great fun jamming "Purple Rain" with Tom Morello, Nuno Bettencourt (CUTE!), Carl Restivo, and like 5 other guys last night at Hotel Cafe. Earlier that evening I sang standards and some originals at The Beverly Hills Womans Club so it was a wastey one!
Please come see my band on 4/27 at Bordello in downtown LA.

Hey guys,
Tuesday April 17th I'm going to play a couple of songs in a rare solo/piano mini set with my old friend The Nightwathman (aka guitar god Tom Morello) to benefit Axis of Justice and Food Not Bombs (homeless charities in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Venice).
Look out for a possible mega star studded jam at the end of the night - Come out to support- Its a good cause and I never do solo piano shows unless I'm in my livingroom!!!!
xoxoxo
